Chapter 1 Xuanchen Lord was reborn
The high-speed train to Hai City was moving fast on its way when suddenly it shook violently.
Awaken by the shake, Jack opened his eyes slowly.
Surprise and puzzlement filled his eyes. After observing around, he frowned immediately.
“Isn’t it the train that I was on when I went to Hai City to fulfill the engagement to Sally, at the age of twenty-three?”
A moment ago he was going through the last Thunder Punishment, but the next moment he was back to the human world!
In
his last lifetime, he had arrived in Hai City and got himself ready to
be affianced to Sally; but to his disappointment, Sally, his beloved
bride-to-be, being unable to resist the crazy romance of a
second-generation rich guy, had betrayed him and eloped with that guy!
It was hardly the worst.
The
worst thing was, in order to get Sally, that rich guy had continuously
set traps for Jack to step in. He first lured Jack to get addicted to
gambling and that’s how Jack lost it all; then the rich guy framed Jack,
accusing him of cheating in the game, which contributed to Jack’s
losing abilities in both of his hands.
Even so, it seemed that
the rich guy still couldn’t get enough of this, so he had Jack’s
father’s little factory burnt and Jack’s father ended up committing
suicide by hanging himself. Jack had lost everything; his family was
totally shattered.
In the end, Jack had nothing to lose any more;
he had nothing but desperation. He jumped off the Yangze River Bridge.
It’s just, he didn’t expect that he should have entered the Immortal
World by chance, and had become the Xuanchen Lord!
To become an
Immortal, he had to survive the Heavenly Punishment; but while he was
going though the Thunder Punishment, he was reborn and returned to the
human world.
Looking back on the sufferings in the last lifetime,
Jack laughed coldly, “Sally, and those who have failed me and hurt me,
for all that you have owed me, now it’s time to pay the price!”
A light of coldness flashed through Jack’s eyes, which seemed to be full of the stars of the whole universe.
He closed his eyes and started to introspect himself, but then he pursed his lips slightly.
The fairy spirit which used to be full almost ran out at the moment.
Jack
took back his consciousness and thought to himself, “It seems that I
have to spend another life in this human world. But it’s not that bad,
because I’m going to be free and unfettered totally, without having any
sorrows!”
Suddenly, a girl sitting by the window said in a low
voice, “Grandpa, why are we here instead of going to the business class?
It’s too crowed and messy here!”
Beside Jack, there sat an old
gentleman who seemed calm and a cute girl in her twenties. Simply as
they were both dressed, they failed to hide the unique confidence and
nobleness in them.
They seemed quite outstanding in the second class cabin.
Jack was sitting by the isle, the old gentleman in the middle and the girl by the window.
The
old gentleman smiled lightly and said, “Sara, how many times have I
told you, that if you want to seek a better fate and reach a better
state, you’ll have to put yourself among the common people? If you
always cage yourself up high in the castle, when will you have a real
breakthrough?”
On hearing this, the girl stuck out her tongue and
said in a low voice, “It’s only been ten years since I started
practicing martial arts; I have already grasped the Outer Strength and
everyone calls me a genius...”
The old gentleman said seriously,
“There’s Inner Strength following Outer Strength. And after this, you’ll
have to learn to release the Inner Strength and use it as Outer
Strength, only till then will you be a Master of Martial Arts. Now do
you think, with your speed right now, that you can be a Master when you
reach my age?”
As Jack was repairing his fairy spirit to recover
himself, he heard this conversation. He felt surprised that the old
gentleman and the cute girl should be Martial Practisers!
In the eyes of the Immortal Practicers, Martial Practisers are as worthless as ants.
In the Immortal World, Martial Practisers are the servants of the Immortal Practicers.
Things

laughter was heard by the girl clearly, who had just made great vows.

What’s so funny?”
The old gentleman scolded the girl immediately,
of course, with his mixed voice,”Sara, don’t be rude! He’s a common
human; he couldn’t hear us at all!”
The girl then understood
suddenly. But she still rolled her eyes at Jack angrily, “Do not laugh
suddenly for no reasons; you might get your ass kicked!”
Jack
opened his eyes slowly, looked at the girl and asked her scornfully,
“What! I’ll laugh as I please; who are you to interfere with my
business?”
The girl said angrily, “Mind your words, you arrogant man!”
Jack laughed coldly, “You are like a frog sitting in a well and looking at the heaven; you accuse me of being arrogant? Funny!”
“You...” the girl was so angry that even the sound of her rubbing her fists could be heard; “Let me teach you a lesson!”
Jack
smiled scornfully and said proudly, “Little girl, I am in a good mood
today. I shall give you a few words to live by; listen carefully.”
Jack waited for a moment then said, “Twenty-five is a deadline, or the whole life is hopeless.”
The
girl didn’t understand the words at all, but the old gentleman who
seemed calm suddenly got alerted and his expression became full of
frights!
He looked at Jack in astonishment and asked carefully, “Young brother, may I have your name? What Family are you from?”
Jack answered calmly, “You don’t deserve to know my name.”
Chapter 2 You are not qualified!
In Jack’s eyes, there’s no difference between Martial Practicers and servants.
What’s more, they were the type of servants that he despised.
Only those little Immortal Practicers of Foundation-Building Period would take Martial practicers as servants.
He had once been the Xuanchen Lord and all his servants had been of the Immortality phase.

up, ten young guys stood up along with her. They all looked unkind and
must have been their underlings.
These guys were rubbing their
fists and seemed ready to kick Jack’s ass. But to their expectation, the
old gentleman scolded right away, “Sara! Don’t be rude! Apologize!
Hurry!”
“What?” The girl stared at her grandfather in surprise
and said, “Grandpa, this jerk dares to disrespect you, I could kill him a
thousand times!”
“How dare you!” The old gentleman shouted with extreme anger, “I said, Apologize, now!”
The
girl got terrified by her grandfather’s anger. After making sure it’s
not a joke, she gradually took away her aggressive attitude and said
unwillingly to Jack who remained calm, “I am sorry...”
“Sorry Senior!” the old gentleman corrected her angrily.
With tears in her eyes, Sara said, “I am sorry, Senior...”
Then,
the old gentleman turned to Jack and said humbly, “Senior, Sara is my
granddaughter; I am sorry for her behavior; I should have disciplined
her.”
Jack didn’t respond and closed his eyes again.
Seeing this, the girl was going to explode again but held back her temper because her grandfather eyeballed her again.
Then
the old gentleman became humbler, “Senior, I am the Master of Shen
Family in Jinghai City. The words you just said, I heard my grandpa
mentioned them when I was little but he never explained them to me. Will
you please elaborate? I would be so grateful and at your service
whenever you need me!”
Jack opened his eyes and took a glimpse at
the old gentleman. He surrounded the three of them with his Fairy Aura
that he just took in and said calmly, “I’ve said it quite clearly.
Twenty-five is a deadline, or the whole life is hopeless. That is to
say, if she still can’t acquire the Inner Strength before twenty-five
years old, it would be impossible for her to be a Master of Martial Arts
in her lifetime.”
Then Jack looked at Sara again and laughed,
“She must be Twenty something. And she’s just acquired Outer Strength. I
don’t think she can release the Inner Strength and use it as Outer
Strength even if she reaches your age.”
The old gentleman got so stunned!

“Please take Sara as your apprentice, please.” Tianming Shen asked.

Sara,

“Behave yourself!” Tianming scolded Sara and stared at her angrily, then Sara got terrified and stopped.
Sara’s chest was moving up and down because of anger, but she dared not say anything in front of her grandpa.
She pouted her lips and took out a pendant from her pocket and start playing with it.
This pendant was a crystal little bottle, inside which was a dried purple plant.
Jack
glanced at it and noticed it’s actually something that can be made into
Purple Cloud Pill. It’s a divine plant called Ice Orchid!
Chapter 3 One step to Foundation-Building Phase
Purple Cloud Pill is an essential pill for Foundation-Building. If Jack
could make Purple Cloud Pill from the Ice Orchid, he could complete the
Foundation-Building smoothly. If so, Jack’s ability would surly take a
great leap!
So he made up his mind immediately, that he had to get the Ice Orchid.
Having
this in his mind, Jack looked at Sara Shen and said lightly, “I can
keep an eye on her, but I want the pendant in her hand.”

But grandpa said, “Sara, give it to him.”
“Grandpa!” Sara said hurriedly, “My mom gave me this and I am giving it to no one!”
Tianming Shen said with a serious tone, “Are you going to disobey me now?”
Seeing
grandpa’s firm expression, Sara couldn’t control her tears coming down
right away. She had no choice but to hand it over to Jack unwillingly.
Holding the Ice Orchid in his hand, Jack could feel its power already. He felt so excited.
Then he looked at Sara who was already in a sea of tears.
He felt a bit guilty suddenly, so he said to her, “Reach out your hand.”
“What did you say?” Sara stared at him as if she was about to swallow him.
Jack said lightly, “Give me your hand. You have given me a gift, so I will also give you a gift in return.”
“No, I don’t want it!”
Sara refused. But Jack held her left hand directly.
“You filthy man, what are you going to do to me?” Sara nearly got angry again.
Jack said calmly, “I am giving you a good luck now. Seize this chance because there will be no more chances like this.”
Then he transferred some of his Fairy Aura into Sara’s body.

Strength already. I also helped strengthen your meridians and
collateral. You would feel no difficulty practicing Martial Arts from
now on. Piece of cake and, you are welcome.”
“Ah...” Sara was not the only one that got stunned; Tianming almost fainted because of great joy.
How wonderful!
Any strong Martial Practicer with great talent would take five or six years to complete this phase.
Could it be real that Jack should really do this in a second?
Tianming looked at Sara and asked hurriedly, “How do you feel?”
Sara
closed her eyes and then she replied with a teary face, “Yes grandpa, I

only returning a favor. No need to kneel. I have to go now. We shall see

Then he left his seat and walked to the cabin joint without looking back.
Looking at Jack’s figure, Sara couldn’t help asking, “Grandpa, you are going to let him leave? Shall we find out who he is?”
Tianming hurriedly said, “Do not make any move. He’s a proud man. We shouldn’t provoke him.”

Jack
left his seat and went into the washroom. He locked the door from the
inside and then took the pendant out of his pocket. He was going to make
Purple Cloud Pill right away.
He didn’t need any Alchemy Furnace
to make pills of the Foundation-building Phase; he only needed to burn
it slightly and carefully in his palm with Fairy Aura and it should be
done before he got off the train.
The Ice Orchid in his palm was
shattered into power in an instant and Fairy Aura started pouring in.
Then the power became liquid and started to spin around in his palm.
With the Fairy Aura driving the liquid, the liquid gradually froze.
When
the train started to slow down as it got near to the destination, Jack
suddenly move his palm inward toward his chest thus the Fairy Aura was
locked. Here came the three Purple Cloud Pills of rice size!
With the help of the three pills, he could enter Foundation-Building Phase smoothly!
There
are nine levels of Immortal Practicing, and they are
Foundation-Building Phase, Revision Phase, Virtuoso Phase, Divinity
Phase, Immortality Phase, Transcendence Phase, Ascent Phase, Judgment
Phase and Mahayana Phase.
Jack flicked his finger and the Purple Cloud Pill flew into his mouth.
In
an instant, the effect of the pill began to spread. A feeling of
coldness went down in his body and veins and became the purest Fairy
Aura.
Jack was in the Foundation-Building Phase!

Then the broadcast went off, “Dear passengers, we are arriving in Hai City Station...”
“Hai City?” Jack showed a cold smile.
“Sally
Bai! You and your nasty man have made me suffer so much in my last
lifetime; I hope we will have a good time together this lifetime. Don’t
worry, I won’t let you people die immediately. I shall have fun and
enjoy the good time with you!”
Chapter 4 The Fiancee
When the train stopped, Jack Ye stepped out of Hai City Station.
On seeing him, Sally Bai who had a charming face and was wearing a white dress, came over him immediately.
Looking at her delicate appearance, Jack showed a sardonic grin, and said to himself, "Hai City, I am coming!"
"Jack, you must be tired along the way, right?"
Sally stepped forward with a sweet smile on her face.
Jack said plainly, "No, I’m not."
At this moment, Jack heard a woman mocked, "Sally, is this your fiancé? He looks very common."
Jack

She was Sally's best friend, the second daughter of the Li family, Jinwei Li.

Frank

become Vince’s flunky and ranged against Jack with him was that Vince

Frank was so angry at Jack's words that he almost couldn't help cursing.

did ask his family for a long time before he get the funding.
